I Cannot Redeem The Nintendo eShop Voucher Code

Important!

  • First of all, please verify that you are entering the correct code.
  • The code is a 16-digit code that is printed on the receipt you received via email when you made the purchase on Codashop.
  • If some numbers are hard to read, try entering similar numbers.
    (For example, a 0 may look like an 8, a 5 may look like a 2, etc).

If you still experiencing an issue or get an error from one of the following while redeeming your Nintendo eShop voucher code, please follow the workaround below:

  • Error Code: 2813-0055

If you receive this error code, it indicates that either the download code has expired or the content for which you are attempting to redeem the download code has not yet been officially released for purchase on the Nintendo eShop.

Different software titles may become available at different times of day on their release dates.
You can determine if the game or downloadable content is available for purchase by checking the game's page on the Nintendo Switch Nintendo eShop. If it is available for purchase, then the download code should be redeemable for the content, unless it has expired.

A Nintendo Switch Online membership prepaid card can be redeemed in the Nintendo eShop for the country where it was purchased.
  • Error Code: 2813-6838 (Prepaid Card Not Working)

Please recheck the code you entered and make sure that you've entered the right code.

If the error continues, this may indicate a delay in activating certain cards. Please wait 24 hours before trying again.
  • Error Code: 2811-6058

This error code indicates multiple input errors. Please wait a short time before trying to redeem the download code again.
